Movies, TV shows, legislative sessions, documentaries all get archived on the internet and are searchable. Several devices make this easier (AppleTV, Roku, Chromecast, etc.). For many of us, these devices may become more convenient than a cable TV subscription. A device will open many “providers” who offer free as well as paid viewings. Many providers even offer fuller descriptions of movies and videos. Once you have established an account (Netflix, Amazon Instant Media, HuluPlus), you can rent and see things online. Providers such as PBS and Smithsonian provide hundreds of hours of free materials.
